Awards and Honours

Throughout her undergraduate and postgraduate training, Dr. Reem Dahdaleh received several prestigious awards in recognition of her academic excellence, clinical ability, research, and commitment to patient care.

While studying at King's College London, she was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in the Collaborative KaVo Prize (2002) for Best Surgery Design and the Alfred Woodhouse Prize (2004) for her clinical governance project, "Wisdom Teeth and Lower Incisor Crowding." In 2005, she graduated with a Merit in the Practice of Clinical Dentistry and received the Jack Wheatley Carlton Hunter Prize, awarded for demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy, humanity, and kindness in the treatment of patients.

During her postgraduate training, she was also awarded a prize by King's College Hospital (2008) for the outstanding quality of her presentation, "The Importance of Platelets in Dental Surgical Practice." She was awarded a distinction (2010) during her Masters in Clinical dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute for investigating the effect of denture cleaning agents and sonication on bacterial viability particularly EMRSA-16 and Candida albicans on heat cured acrylic.
